ABOUT THE OUTER BANKS

The Outer Banks is a long island sprinkled with quaint beach 
towns off the coast of North Carolina. It’s filled with good vibes and beautiful sandy beaches.

Much of the island is protected by national wildlife preserves and is home to the largest sand dune on the east coast, Jockey's Ridge.

Robin spent a few weeks here every summer growing up and is honored to host you at our upcoming retreat in this magical place.

YOUR RETREAT HOME

We’ll be staying in a gorgeous oceanside home.

The house has a pool, hot tub, generous porches on each level, a spacious kitchen and cozy sitting areas. 

You’ll have your choice between several comfortable bedrooms, some shared and some private. (See below.)

There will be plenty of parking in the driveway and on the secluded street.

WHAT YOU'LL DO ON RETREAT

During your retreat, you'll have the chance to:

-Join us for walks on the beach
-Learn how to cook with Robin
-Detox with nutritious foods

-Detoxing in the Infrared Sauna

You can sleep in or wake early. You can join us for all or some of the activities; it’s up to you how you want to experience your

The focus of every Take Back Your Health Retreat is the food. 

Robin began her journey to health with nutrition, and has found that after changing what she was eating, her joint pain and fatigue improved to the point that she could engage in other healing therapies and eventually heal more fully.

What you put into your body really does have a much more siginifcant affect on your physical, mental and emotional health than any of us currently believe possible.

Robin will be designing your meals, all focused around the Take Back Your Health™ Nutrition Protocol. 

Superfood Smoothies, Bone Broths, Seasonal Salads, Probiotic Homemade Dressings, Warming Soups, 
Roasted Chicken and Vegetables, Nourishing Desserts, Grain-Free Breads

All food is free from Gluten, Dairy, Soy, Corn, GMOs, Peanuts and Eggs.

Meals will be 80% Paleo with 
Vegetarian options at each meal.

TRAVEL AND LOCATION

The Outer Banks is located 4 hours and 40 minutes from Washington DC, 3 hours from Richmond, VA and 3 hours and 40 minutes from Raleigh, NC. The nearest major airports are Richmond Int'l Airport and Dulles Int'l Airport.

The house address will be emailed to you a few weeks ahead.

If you don’t have a friend to travel with no problem! There are many wonderful people who travel alone to TBYH events as well as friends and couples. Robin’s events create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

This fall we'll be spending four days in the beautiful Blue Ridge foothills in Virginia.

This retreat will focus on using nutrition to recover from autoimmune disease.

It will be a good opportunity to learn how to navigate a healthy diet in the face of social and career distractions.

YOUR RETREAT HOME

Our retreat home is a spacious farmhouse located in the rolling hills of central Virginia, surrounded by fall foliage. It is easily accessible by car from the surrounding areas.

The house has a jacuzzi, deck and outdoor eating space, a spacious 
kitchen for our cooking demos and plenty of comfortable sitting areas. 

The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. You can choose between Queen or Twin beds. (See images below.)

Throughout our four days, you’ll

This option gives you a twin bed in a room shared with 1-2 other people.

NOTE: these beds are full size twins. We are not using the bunk beds pictured. Each person will have their own separate detached bed. The bathroom is shared as well.

Refund Policy

 Your deposit is 50% refundable until 60 days before the retreat start date.
The deposit and/or payment is non-refundable less than 60 days before the retreat.
If you paid your deposit only, the remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat start date and is non-refundable.

If the client cancels less than 60 days before the retreat, or if the client does not show up, or leaves early for any reason, no credit or refund is available.
The balance in full must be paid by 60 days before the retreat start date.
